Hi, my name is Kyra and I love setting my table with beautiful linens and playful place settings. I’m a real person, with a real life (a few kids and even more pets), and I’m here to tell you that it’s not only possible to have beautiful things, but simple to achieve! 

Decorating doesn't have to be perfect and precious to be beautiful. I set tables for both everyday meals and fancy dinner parties using the table cloths, napkins, and place settings that I’ve collected over the years. Cotton, linen, solids or prints, they are all beautiful in their own unique way, but none are so precious that I wouldn’t set them on my table any day of the week. So whether I’m serving my kids chicken nuggets and french fries or a four course meal for friends, you can bet I’m also setting a lovely table.

When I started my interior design business in 2016, I was spending hours searching for decor pieces for my clients that captured the feeling I wanted people to have when they walked into my own home–a feeling of comfort and ease that the Dutch call Gezellig. Sometimes it was a whimsical knickknack or even a colorful pillow in an unexpected print, no matter the object, I wanted to find things that felt unique to my clients, while also familiar to their family and friends. After years of searching, I discovered that what I was looking for was something I could actually create on my own, by partnering with a team of skilled artisans around the globe.

I’m so excited to introduce you to Gezellig at Home, a collection of table linens that can be purchased individually or as part of our yearly subscription service.
